What's Next
Coming this year will be two republished titles from Catnip - Skitzo and Faultline. Skitzo, a time travel novel which starts in the future and then travels back to today, was originally published by Scholastic, and Faultline, which is set in California and opens with dinosaurs rampaging through an LA park, came out under the Bantam imprint. It'll be good to see them back in print.
OMEGA PLACE
Early next year, Bloomsbury will be publishing my next YA novel. Omega Place is the first book for a couple of years which I've set in England. It begins in Newcastle and swiftly moves south to London. It's about Paul who, after an massive argument with his step father, ups and leaves home; his path crosses that of a radical action group, called Omega Place. Their message is political, not environmental, and their methods are 'whatever it takes'. But who are they, really?
KAIRO
The next book from Usborne, due late spring, is a 'future/past' story that's in the early stages of development, and will start to move as soon as Omega Place is finished.
